Trump’s New ‘Yes-man’ is a Reckoning for the World

Now ‘former’ Defence Secretary Mark Esper.

US Defence Secretary Mark Esper was fired today for, among other things, not agreeing to unleash active-service troops on protesters. Esper has warned us that the person who replaces him will be a Yes-man to Trump; meaning they will decide to unleash fully armed soldiers on civilians under certain circumstances.

Will such circumstances include those addressed in my last post, where Trump refused to step down in January 2021?

Would the Generals obey a direct command by someone who is no longer officially recognized as President (after 20th January 2021)?

If it were any other former President, this question would be easier to answer. Yet this is businessman, television personality turned (by his own admission) wannabe autocrat – Donald J Trump, and the emotions he has stirred will not be simmering down any time soon. In every quarter of domestic and international politics, this man has learned how to divide and conquer.

If there is a distinct strategy at play here again, it would be to divide and conquer the US military. This man does not care if he is the catalyst that implodes the US.

But why?

The sentiments of hate caused by polarizing beliefs have been sown for centuries everywhere. This is not exclusive to the USA. Yet this is America’s reckoning – since here is a man who knows how to exploit them to their ultimate end.

Will the people of the United States see his game for what it is and come together at the last minute? Or are we about to witness an unimaginable blood bath which will have equally unfathomable consequences everywhere – a reckoning for the world?

Alarm Bells: How the Election Result Could Ring in (un)Civil War.

At this historic moment, emotions vary between; joy/relief and sadness/rage and indifference.
By now, we are all too aware that the reasons for these emotions are tied to one’s own political allegiance. The feeling that arises from an objective observer – that of deep concern – is maybe less obvious to those caught up in the polarizing windstorm of party loyalty.

From his ‘War Room, ‘ military strategist Bannon called for the beheading of Dr. Fauci and the director of the FBI, Christopher Wray and the placing of their heads on posts outside the White House. These comments got him a thrown off Twitter and YouTube. Below is a case scenario which has been made more feasible since the public statements by Bannon, Trump’s ‘former’ trusted and influential advisor.

Trump Jnr also called for his father to go to ‘total war’ over the poll results, and the President’s tweet below, 2 hours ago, is striking the same non-conciliatory tone he has rung for the last 4 years. Despite the lack of current support from senior Republicans, Trump’s timeline is more raw and raging than ever.

Trump lights the flames of rage with constant all-caps tirades. This one is in response to what he sees as being cheated of a second term in office. The consequences of this are yet to be analyzed and understood:

The oManyly armed & emotionally Trump charged followers will see todaythe only’ news’ , 7th November 2020.

Since many of Trump’s heavily armed followers use his tweets as their ‘only’ source of ‘news’, this is at the very least of genuine concern; at most it is terrifying.

Below is a breakdown of the worst-case-scenario-equation: ‘Irrational emotions + Trump + guns’ – which – we all hope level heads have a plan for solving:

– Trump refuses to leave the White House (he already stated his intention).

– Protesters arrive. Some start a riot. (inevitable).

– Trump calls in the armed forces for ‘protection.’ (also inevitable).

– Trump still refuses to leave; other armed forces units are required to forcibly remove Trump. (highly probable).

– The armed forces tasked with defending Trump from protesters are unable to be kept apart from those tasked with removing him. (high possibility).

– Trump has armed guards who get into a gun battle with those trying to remove him. (If it gets as far as the last point, this is still a nightmare possibility).

– The first soldier gets hurt, ‘friendly fire’ incident occurs, or emotions are simply charged to the point that military factions with opposing views cannot contain the chaos. (as likely as the last point).

What makes such events so predictable (and hopefully preventable) is how near-identical scenarios have sparked civil wars around the world in the past.

We have to ask, what makes the United States an exception to such a disaster – now that it has reached boiling point? US citizens are armed with high-powered and rapid-fire rifles akin to military-issued firepower since it is written into the constitution that the people should not be less powerful than the government.

The world’s most enormous ego has the backing of humanity’s most unreasonable emotions, armed with some of the planet’s most potent guns – charging towards the most predictable disasters.

This situation is about to go ballistic. We need level heads to win the day for the rest of us. No one is unaffected by the world’s most powerful nation. If that nation destroys itself – we will feel the repercussions for generations.
